When you’re scouring your closet & somehow have a mustard yellow outfit just laying right in front of you…you’ve just got to throw it on & hope for the best! Well I’ve got a few tips for those hoping to pull together a monochromatic outfit!
Be Basic
And by basic, go for all black or white looks! They are probably one of the EASIEST to find monochromatic mixes you can find in your closet, get started there & then see what else you can put together.
Make Something Stand Out
See how my bag is in the same family as the rest of my outfit? But it draws attention to how the rest of my is all in a mustardy yellow, almost like pointing out that the rest of my look is monochromatic.
Almost but not quite
It doesn’t have to be the EXACT same colors, it looks awesome when in a few shades of each other. And it won’t cause you to pull your hair out.
So In Trend
The easiest way to build a Monochromatic look is using a color that is in trend at the moment, there will be a color of the moment & stores will stock every item in that color. Get it girl!
