Is anyone else just on edge for all the ham & turkey about to fill their body for the upcoming holiday season? I’m partnering again with The Honey Baked Ham Company for friendsgiving & to share some tablescape tips to get your table ready in a snap.

Every year I have to have a Honey Baked Ham but this was my first time getting a Honey Baked Boneless Ham & won’t be my last! It is so easy and simple to serve—itʼs sliced and ready to enjoy. No mess, no fuss! And less prep time means more family & friends time.  I just let it come to room temperature for a yummy main course. The Honey Baked Turkey Breast that is topped with the same sweet, crunchy glaze. I’m a sucker for the glaze, so I’m sorry to my guest if there’s patches missing…I can’t help but sneak pieces off.

Let’s talk tablescape though, I’m all about keeping it simple & not going overboard buying pieces just for the sake of one dinner of the year. I joked that my style is “forager chic” with my husband as I was setting the table for our friendsgiving dinner.

Neutral Must Haves

By having a trusty base for the foundation of your tablescape you can always have a go to for when company is coming over. I start with a white table cloth because it is easy to keep clean when unexpected spill happen. Along with always having a white table cloth, I also have a set of white dinner plates, a modge podge of silverware that I’ve thrifted and serving dishes in a neutral color palette to keep things cohesive.

Y’all know I love color, so you might have been surprised with my tip on keeping an arsenal of  neutrals on hand. But well, I don’t like scattering around trying to match a million plates or freaking out if I don’t have an extra table setting, but white is just an easy go to.

Splashing In Color

Easy ways to pull in some color are with a table runner (mine is a black roll of paper), napkins, accessories pulled from around the house & greenery. I pulled some pumpkins (real & faux) from around the house along with a few things from my fall decor to sprinkle around the table and add a splash of color.

Earthy Additions

You can easily put down some greenery snipped from the yard/garden to bring the outside in. I have a fig tree that I pulled leaves from and also rosemary, sage, magnolia leaves and pine cones/needles. If you aren’t lucky enough to have plants to pull from, hit up your grocery stores and pick up some inexpensive greenery (baby’s breath, eucalyptus). Copper is also a beautiful earthy additon, I served the Potatoes Au Gratin that I picked up from The Honey Baked Ham Company.

Alright, so you know how to get your table ready..how about a $125 Honey Baked Ham gift card giveaway so you can fill your table with delicious food? Open to the US. 18+

  1. My favorite Thanksgiving side would have to be corn bread stuffing. Just like my mom made when we were growing up.

  2. Our family enjoys stuffing with raisins, along with stuffing ourselves with all the other great items at our meals

  6. I’d have to say sweet potato casserole is my favorite. It’s such a tradition in the south (where I’m from). Plus, it’s just delicious!!!

  7. My favorite Thanksgiving side is Mashed Potatoes. I’d be happy eating just those, each day, for the rest of my life.

  8. I am a huge stuffing fan, I prefer cornbread stuffing but if I’m being real, I will eat any stuffing you put in front of me.

  9. That is a tough one, I don’t usually eat potatoes so it’s probably getting to have mashed potatoes and my Mom’s gravy.

  10. Wow, I didn’t know HoneyBaked Ham had prepared side dishes. They look really good. We’ll have to try them soon.

  11. Over the last few years, I have made homemade cranberry sauce. It tastes so much better than canned cranberries.

  12. Dressing, without a doubt! Once I moved to South Carolina and experienced a true, southern Thanksgiving, I can never go back to stuffing. Dressing and gravy, all day long!!

  13. I love stuffing. I know it’s a cliché and I should have lied and said something kitschy and ironic like a jello mold, but… no, I really love stuffing.

  14. I guess if I had to choose, it would be the stuffing that my mother and I make for the holidays. Now that is something I could eat everyday and never get sick of it so, that’s why we have it only on the holidays or if we make stuffed steak.

  15. I love everything that fits on the table that is edible ?
Seriously, I love food. I love to cook, and now I really love watching my daughter cook. Happy times!

  16. My favorite Thanksgiving side dish is mashed sweet potatoes. No baked yams with brown sugar and marshmallows- just mashed please.

  17. My favorite thanksgiving side is my dad’s delicious Oyster stuffing. I can’t tell you how much I look forward to that dish every year. Second favorite side : ham!

  18. My favorite side to make for Thanksgiving is a green jello with cream cheese, pineapple, pecans and other good stuff that my grandmother also used to make.

  19. My favorite side is stuffing! My grandmother passed down the recipe for her stuffing and it is amazing so we try to have that for the holiday dinners!

  20. My favorite side is my moms sweet potato casserole. She puts candied pecans and dried cranberries on them. It’s literally the hit of the night and everyone is upset if they aren’t there!

  21. My favorite side dish for Thanksgiving & Christmas is candied Yams. My grandma made them every year. We usually do Thanksgiving with my in-laws and Christmas at home so my husband makes them for me every year for Christmas, however, this year we will be doing both holidays at home this year so I get it twice!! <3
