It’s getting to that point of the holiday season where we might be scattering for a last minute gift..and maybe a refreshing drink. If that sounds like you, go no farther..I’ve got you covered. And since pomegranates are an antioxidant, we can just think of this as a health drink 😉 Obviously, I’m no doctor but that seems like basic science.
I love when you are strolling the grocery store & pomegranates are magically under $1 each..you KNOW that’s when they are in peak season & have way too many. Soo you load up on them because that’s just what one does. But then, what to do with them? Yes, they are great on a salad but you know what they are REALLY good with? An alcoholic drink. So I whipped up a batch a moscato sangria & had to share this delightful drink with y’all!
These are great to take over to a friend’s house when she’s hosting a holiday dinner along with a sampler pack of The Honey Baked Ham Rum Cakes. I love bringing over delicious treats when I am going over to anyone’s house but with the crazy holiday season…that usual fun task turns into something that feels like a weight on my shoulders. But while I was running into The Honey Baked Ham Company for some bacon (have you tried it!?), I saw they had a Rum Cake Sampler box & it is now my go to gift for hostess & teachers! So here we go, a very boozy blog post. Moscato & Rum Cake..Merry Christmas y’all!

- 10 mint leaves
- 1 pomegranate
