Y’all, I get SO excited for new kitchen toys! I recently got the Vitamix Aer Disc Container that does all the things that annoy me to do in the kitchen. Haha, you know all those things that seem simple but aren’t at all….

I took this as a chance to make a pitcher of Raspberry Paloma drinks for a little holiday cheer. And as one of the most versatile blender attachments on the market, you can master whipping, muddling, foam, and emulsifying for any recipe. So for this one, I was looking forward to trying the muddling…but the super easy way. Well, it turned into a home run of a drink!

Ingredients
  • 1 cup of tequila
  • ¼ cup simple syrup
  • 4 mint leaves
  • 1 ruby red grapefruit, ends trimmed and discarded, cut into 8 equal slices (about 1/4″)
  • 1 large lime, ends trimmed and discarded, cut into 8 equal slices (about 1/4″)
  • 12 raspberries
  • club soda
  • raspberries, mint  & grapefruit for garnish
Instructions
  1. Place ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
  2. Select the lowest setting. Start the machine, increase to its highest speed, and run for 30 to 45 seconds.
  3. Fill glasses half way with mixture & half with club soda (adjust as needed).
  4. Garnish with raspberries, mint  & grapefruit.

And to celebrate my first drink recipe..I’m giving away catering for TWENTY to Chipotle! Did you know that Chipotle provides everything you need for a full catering spread for six to 200 people & only need 24 hours’ notice to get the order ready for you to pick up?!

  1. This looks delicious. It’m almost tempted to go get the ingredients right now! LOL My favorite drink is a cosmopolitan.

  2. I love all kinds of Margaritas. I have a restaurant near my house that makes a fabulous one with Lime, Orange, and Ginger.
