This past weekend we had the chance to visit Altitude H2O Houston, it was our families first time at a floating waterpark & I wasn’t sure what to expect with this obstacle course on the water! Well, I’m here to share all the details on this summer family fun activity!

First let’s start with the who can jump, how much, reservations & all the things before you get to jump. To enter Altitude H2O you have to be over six years old (& 43 inches), you don’t need reservations but it can help move things along quicker since you can also sign the necessary waivers online.

If you are a parent & not jumping you can simply enjoy the sitting area where there are chairs & umbrellas free for use. Altitude H2O pricing is the same for all participants; a single session is $20 per person & a double session is $30 per person. Each session is 45 minutes long. Life jackets are a requirement for each participant but also provided free of charge.

At first, I was a bit nervous that I’d made the wrong decision when I saw all the other parents sitting on the sidelines…I had to ask again if it was for adults too! LOL But it is & it is NO easier just because you’re an adult, as my husband put it “it’s very humbling” after he hilariously fell when feeling very confident with some obstacles. I fell exactly 90 seconds into the obstacle also…so yes, humbling but also SO. MUCH. FUN!!! We only had time for a single session but next time we’ve already planned to do a double session (plus it’s a great deal).

After playing we finished our session we were able to enjoy snacks we had brought in, coolers are just fine to bring in (just no glass or alcohol) & then we enjoyed playing a few games as a family that they had set up to enjoy.
