Is anyone else just on edge for all the ham & turkey about to fill their body for the upcoming holiday season? I’m partnering again with The Honey Baked Ham Company for friendsgiving & to share some tablescape tips to get your table ready in a snap.
Every year I have to have a Honey Baked Ham but this was my first time getting a Honey Baked Boneless Ham & won’t be my last! It is so easy and simple to serve—itʼs sliced and ready to enjoy. No mess, no fuss! And less prep time means more family & friends time. I just let it come to room temperature for a yummy main course. The Honey Baked Turkey Breast that is topped with the same sweet, crunchy glaze. I’m a sucker for the glaze, so I’m sorry to my guest if there’s patches missing…I can’t help but sneak pieces off.
Let’s talk tablescape though, I’m all about keeping it simple & not going overboard buying pieces just for the sake of one dinner of the year. I joked that my style is “forager chic” with my husband as I was setting the table for our friendsgiving dinner.
Neutral Must Haves
By having a trusty base for the foundation of your tablescape you can always have a go to for when company is coming over. I start with a white table cloth because it is easy to keep clean when unexpected spill happen. Along with always having a white table cloth, I also have a set of white dinner plates, a modge podge of silverware that I’ve thrifted and serving dishes in a neutral color palette to keep things cohesive.
Y’all know I love color, so you might have been surprised with my tip on keeping an arsenal of neutrals on hand. But well, I don’t like scattering around trying to match a million plates or freaking out if I don’t have an extra table setting, but white is just an easy go to.
Splashing In Color
Easy ways to pull in some color are with a table runner (mine is a black roll of paper), napkins, accessories pulled from around the house & greenery. I pulled some pumpkins (real & faux) from around the house along with a few things from my fall decor to sprinkle around the table and add a splash of color.
Earthy Additions
You can easily put down some greenery snipped from the yard/garden to bring the outside in. I have a fig tree that I pulled leaves from and also rosemary, sage, magnolia leaves and pine cones/needles. If you aren’t lucky enough to have plants to pull from, hit up your grocery stores and pick up some inexpensive greenery (baby’s breath, eucalyptus). Copper is also a beautiful earthy additon, I served the Potatoes Au Gratin that I picked up from The Honey Baked Ham Company.
Alright, so you know how to get your table ready..how about a $125 Honey Baked Ham gift card giveaway so you can fill your table with delicious food? Open to the US. 18+
